Departing four times a week from our care home in Ilkley, West Yorkshire, our day trips are perfectly planned and well-coordinated. They give residents the opportunity to admire Ilkley’s neighbouring towns and villages, whilst enjoying stunning countryside along the way.

 

Residents’ preferences are always at the heart of our care home day trips. Our itinerary is reviewed and adapted each month following suggestions in our monthly residents meetings. Whether you wish to enjoy a spot of afternoon tea in one of the local tea rooms, treat yourself to a new item of clothing in one of Skipton’s high street shops, or visit a garden centre to pick a new house plant to decorate your room, the opportunities are endless. 

 

For extra convenience, we also arrange for a selection of shops to visit Abbeydale, including Phoenix Cards, The Edinburgh Woollen Mill and Body Shop. This provides an additional opportunity to pick out a birthday card or find a last minute stocking filler for Christmas without even needing to step outdoors.
